Finance and Fees
At Luckley House School we aim to make our fees as inclusive as possible. Unlike many other schools, our fees include tuition, text books, lunch and break refreshments and most after-school activities.
Fees 2024 – 2025*
Day £7,333 per term
Weekly Boarding £10,200 per term
Full Boarding £12,850 per term
Flexi-Boarding (with 48 hours notice) £60.00
*Exclusive of VAT which is expected to be imposed on fees from January 2025.
There is one optional exeat weekend per half term. (see Term Dates) Boarders may stay in school if they wish at a cost of £150.
There will be activities running as normal at an additional cost in line with the usual weekend boarding costs.
Microsoft Surface
All pupils are required to purchase their own Microsoft Surface tablet to use within lessons and at home for prep and further studies. The additional cost of the Surface is included in the first term’s fees.
New parents are provided with information on how to order an approved device through the School with flexible payment options.
Surfaces will remain the property of the pupil, but will be configured by our IT staff to provide pupils with access to the school network, antivirus protection and appropriate web filtering and monitoring. More information about learning with technology is available here.
Payment Schemes
We offer an in-house monthly instalment scheme and a fees in advance scheme. Details of both can be obtained from the Bursary Office.
Fees Refund Scheme
Having to pay for something you aren’t using is frustrating. So if your child is forced to miss school for an extended period
of time because they are ill or injured, a refund is available for those lost school days.
Fee Protection And Insurance
Parents are able to register with the Fee Protection Scheme; the termly charges are £91.09 for day pupils, £91.81 for weekly boarding pupils and £123.69 for full boarding. Insurance for theft, or loss or damage to a pupil’s personal possessions whilst at school remains the parents’ responsibility.
All tuition, boarding and transport fees are payable in full, on or before the first day of term. A full term’s notice, in writing to the Headmistress, is required before withdrawing a pupil or changing status from boarding to day. Failing such notice, fees in lieu will be charged.
Medical Insurance
International boarding pupils must arrange medical insurance for the duration of their stay at Luckley House.
