  • German Language Assistant

    Permanent, zero hours contract (approximately 4 hours a week)

    Required for September 2025      Salary: £26.98 per hour

    We are looking to recruit a part-time German Language Assistant to assist with the teaching of German in the Modern Foreign Languages Department for approximately 4 hours a week.

     

    Working solely with student in Years 10 to 13, the German Language Assistant will help students with their preparation for the oral component of public examinations.

    Job Profile for German Languages Assistant


  • Teacher of English

    Permanent, full time
    Salary: Competitive
    Required for September 2025

    We are looking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and collaborative full-time Teacher of English.  The successful candidate will teach across all Key Stages, including A Level.  At Key Stage 4, we follow the Edexcel IGCSE course, moving to the AQA specification for A Level.

     

    You will be joining a well-established, highly successful department, committed to improvement and dedicated to ensuring that every student achieves their full potential.  We are a close-knit group and each member is an integral member of the team: working together, sharing ideas, developing resources and finding ways to ensure that students develop a love of the subject, regardless of their ability.

  • Art & Photography Assistant

    Permanent, part time

    Salary: £3,866 per annum (£23,573 FTE)

    Start date:  September 2025

     

    We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Art & Photography Assistant to provide support to our well-established and successful Art & Photography Department, one day a week.

     

    You will possess relevant practical experience in Art & Photography that you will put to use in supporting the Head of Department in the delivery of art provisions and support staff in lessons by working one to one with specific students at KS4 & KS5.

     

    The Art & Photography Department is well resourced, consisting of three main teaching studios, one of which houses a specialist printing area, complete with printing press and a large kiln, and a dedicated Sixth Form studio. Additional areas include a fully functioning dark room and a department office. We also have a picture hanging system in place around the School to showcase students’ work all year round.

     

    The Department is devoted to developing and nurturing creative students with independent working and critical thinking skills.  We employ a holistic approach to the development of our students with excellent teaching and learning and an emphasis on positive working relationships at the heart of everything that we do.

     

    Hours of work:

     

    One day a week, 08:30 – 16:30, term time only plus INSET days

    We are looking to appoint a well-qualified, innovative, and enthusiastic full-time Teacher of Mathematics. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach across all Key Stages, up to and including A level. The ability to teach Further Maths at A level would be an advantage.

     

    You will be joining a small, dedicated and highly successful Mathematics Department, committed to improvement and passionate about teaching and learning. We are a close-knit group, and each member is an integral part of the team, working together, sharing ideas, and developing resources cohesively.

     

    We encourage all pupils to reach their full potential and be the best they can be, no matter what their motivation towards Maths may be.
